Principal and Managing Director

Barry has an extensive knowledge of the industry, establishing Ramsey Investigation Services in 1997 after 16 years service in the South Australian Police Department (SAPD) and seven years as a senior investigator and supervisor in the investigation industry.

This work involved interrogating, recording statements, preparing comprehensive reports and giving evidence in the Local Court, Supreme Court and Magistrates Court. Barry has also been an authorised investigator for the Crown Solicitors office in Adelaide.

As Managing Director, Barry’s prime concern is for optimum results and client satisfaction. This is achieved by adopting a hands-on approach and maintaining an active interest in each investigation, ensuring that all aspects of the investigative process are thoroughly covered. In addition, through the personal supervision of staff and contractors and the appraisal of all reports prior to being forwarded to clients, RIS consistently produces work of the highest standard.

Operations Manager
Personal Assistant

Kirsty joined Ramseys in 2016 with approximately 8 years’ experience handling CTP Claims for the Motor Accident Commission at both Allianz and SGIC. Aside from managing general claims, her portfolio encompassed difficult claims requiring extensive investigations as well as major claims and child claims. Kirsty was also involved with the settlement negotiation of many matters bringing her into contact with a number of both Plaintiff and Defendant Solicitors as well as Barristers well known within the Adelaide legal fraternity. Aside from managing claims from start to finish, Kirsty was further tasked with assisting in the training and development of new starters as well as working in a mentoring role at the commencement of the Allianz contract with MAC.

Having dealt with many investigations as a Claims Consultant, Kirsty has brought to Ramseys a detailed knowledge of how injury claims are managed and what the expectations of clients are when we investigate a matter.
